It’s the first week of June and the West End Gallery has taken on the glow from the beautiful colors of the paintings of Marty Poole as we prepare for the opening this Friday, June 8th, of his exhibit of new work. Titled Touched, this collection features a number of stunning paintings including Poole’s grand landscapes and insightful portraiture. It really is a great display of the renowned artist’s mastery of paint and is a must-see show for art lovers in this area.
The West End Gallery has been representing the work of Marty Poole for most of the 35 years we have been in operation here in Corning. It has been our great honor and pleasure to see his work grow and evolve over this time while his reputation as one of America’s premier painters blossomed at the same time. We are proud to be able to offer such high quality art to our collectors.
The exhibit opens this Friday, June 8, with a reception that runs from 5-7:30 PM . Music will be provided by guitarist William Groome.
Marty Poole will also be in the gallery Saturday for a Gallery Talk that takes place from 1-2 PM. This is a great opportunity to hear Marty talk about the stories and processes behind his paintings. Always a great talk!
See you at the opening and/or the gallery talk!
