We’re in the final few days of the Thomas Buechner exhibit at the West End Gallery as the show ends on Friday, November 11. It’s been a great show with its retrospective look at the career of the famed painter. The show features works from many different periods of his long career, touching some of the familiar themes for which he is best known. Represented is his highly regarded portraiture, including a couple of his iconic images of Abraham Lincoln, his classically inspired landscapes and florals and his playful caricatures. All in all, it’s a wonderful show and a must-see for fans of fine painting. Make a note and try to make it into the West End Gallery before the show comes down this coming weekend.
Not to be overlooked, is a fabulous group of new work from our extraordinary stable of artists. The entire gallery is filled with beautiful work. Come and see for yourself!
