Bridget Bossart van Otterloo- Windblown Milkweed

The current exhibit here at the West End Gallery featuring new work from Bridget Bossart van Otterloo and Brian Keeler has been a big hit.  Many of the paintings have found new homes and the show itself has drawn in large numbers of fans of each artist who love their warm and accessible styles.

This Saturday beginning at 1 PM you have a chance to sit down and hear the inside stories behind this wonderful group of artworks as both artists will be participating in a Gallery Talk here at the gallery.  It’s a great opportunity to ask a question about how Bridget or Brian achieved certain parts of a favorite piece or what the influence was that drove them.  It’s always an interesting and learning experience and we hope you will join us on Saturday for this Gallery Talk.

Book Signing with Brian Keeler!

Plus, immediately following the regular Gallery Talk, there will be a book signing for Brian Keeler’s new book, Dramatic Color in the Landscape.  Brian is a nationally known painting instructor with a number of instructional books and DVDs widely available.  There are copies of the new book available at the gallery and Brian will gladly inscribe your book as well as answer questions about the work within it.

It should be a great Gallery Talk and we hope you will stop in and spend a short time getting to know more about these artists’ works and thoughts with us.  Hope to see you at the West End Gallery!
